If you found an item in your car after the ride has been completed, here are some options for coordinating an exchange to return the item to its rightful owner.
Riders are not required to pay you for returning the item to them. It is your responsibility as a driver to check your vehicle for items left behind, when the rider is exiting your vehicle. If you hold the riders item and ask them to be paid for returning the item, your account may be deactivated.
Meet with the Rider
To return the item to the rider, answer the following questions when submitting a ticket and we will assist in coordinating an exchange.
- A brief description and/or photo of the item
- The riders Fare ID or their requested pickup address. If you do not have this information, what was the time frame the item may have been left behind?
- Do you give us permission to provide the rider with your contact information?
Bring the item to the Fare Office
Bring the found item to the Fare Office and we will take care of the rest.
